2009 Model Statements have now been signed off by the Minister.
Templates released 29 May 2009.

The additional Grants Commission payment of 26 June 2009 should probably be separately disclosed, and version 1.1 with appropriate disclosure has now been released.
All templates forwarded after 26 June have been version 1.1 with the additional disclosure.
Version 1.1 is available to Councils supplied before 26 June for a nominal administration/postage/packing fee,

"High Court decision - direct Commonwealth Grants to Council
In July 2009, the High Court handed down a decision that appears to have the effect of invalidating certain payments that have been made, and are proposed to be made, direct to Council by the Commonwealth Government.
The payments concerned include Roads to Recovery grants (of which Council has received $XXX,xxx,000 since 2004) and various Community Infrastructure grants (of which Council has received $XXX,xxx,000, and been promised a further $XXX,xxx,000.)"
The consequences of this decision - and the possible effects on Council - are currently unknown.
